About me

I turn ideas into real-world software.

I'm Rahma Bradai, a Software Engineer and a fresh Software Engineering & Business Intelligence graduate based in Sfax, Tunisia. Over the past years I've shipped cross-platform mobile apps, dynamic web platforms and AI-driven tools across four internships and many personal and freelance projects.

My work spans the full stack, Flutter and native computer vision on mobile, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core, Laravel and Node.js on the backend, and React and Angular on the frontend and increasingly the AI layer. I care deeply about clean architecture, security and great user experience.

Having just graduated, I'm looking for a full-time software engineering role where I can keep learning from a great team and build a new experience.

AI-assisted VS Code extension for automotive test configuration

An AI-assisted VS Code extension that automates the creation and validation of Modular Test Framework (MTF) configuration files for automotive testing. It pairs a visual editor and typed domain model (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, I/O, Serial) with automatic YAML generation, hardware auto-discovery and a two-layer validation engine. At its core, a fully on-premises RAG assistant on Ollama (Qwen3 1.7B + nomic-embed-text) keeps all inference local so confidential data never leaves the network.

A full-stack application that automates activity-report (CRA) management and delivers real-time financial analytics, leveraging the Donut AI model. Intelligent receipt processing uses OCR extraction and zero-shot classification to categorise expenses automatically, all containerised with Docker.

Real-time sign language recognition across 257 signs

A cross-platform Flutter app with live camera streaming and video processing, backed by deep-learning models. I collected and annotated a custom dataset of 7,000+ labelled images with VOTT and applied data augmentation, then experimented with ResNet-18 + LSTM, Vision Transformer (ViT) and MobileNetV2 for temporal sequence modelling and multi-class classification.

Rats Detection

Real-time rat detection on ESP32-CAM with TinyML

An embedded computer-vision system that detects rats in real time, running entirely on an ESP32-CAM microcontroller — no cloud, no PC. A FOMO (Faster Objects, More Objects) object-detection model was trained in Python (TensorFlow/Keras) with Edge Impulse, then int8-quantized and deployed via TensorFlow Lite Micro so it fits and runs on-device. I owned the software side — dataset preparation with OpenCV/Pillow, model training and quantization, and the C++/Arduino firmware — working as a pair with a Scrum workflow.
